You won't Believe What's Coming
Home Sweet Home

Cut from a single 5/16" solid Black Walnut piece, this particular item is personalized with
our family name.  Hangs from a wall or window, stands about 16" wide and 10" high.
Cedar Farm Shelf

Cut entirely from 3/8" solid Eastern Red Cedar that's been sitting out
here in a barn for over 100 years, this stands 16" high, 12" wide and
about 7" deep.

The detail on this particular shelf design is phenomenal, has well over
200 separate cut-outs.

This one took awhile.
Large, Multiple Level Cherry Shelf

Cut entirely from 1/4" solid Black Cherry, this is one of the few items I've managed to keep a copy of for
myself.  This one is now home to Susan's angel collection.

It Stands 20" high and 13.5" wide at the widest point.

A note here:  you've probably noticed that I do quite a few things in Black Cherry - I consider it one of the most
fascinating of all woods.  When you first cut it, the wood is very light, almost a very faded pink.  Over the years it ages
and turns color naturally, until after about 10-15 years when it has turned it's classic dark red-brown "Black Cherry"
color that everyone loves so much.  Most people stain Cherry to get the color immediately - for my things, I think it's
much more fun to watch the color change over time.  Later on, you'll see an item that's going to do this very thing - it's
almost 2 years old now and ... well, you'll see.
