SIG Banshee & Akromaster Midwest Biplane
SIG Banshee - This is my primary flier, one of the best control-line (C/L) aircraft ever designed, even after almost 30 years. This plane has been through the mill, dozens of crashes (mostly minor, like landing up-side-down on occasion) and always comes back for more.
SIG Banshee - Another of my Banshee's. This one is balanced perfectly and can almost rotate on its wing-spar. This plane is so good it has never crashed (is now 19 years old). Fabulous aircraft! NOTE: This plane was retired - forcefully - on Sunday, 10 September 2000 when it finally came in contact with the ground (at approx 55mph) at the bottom of an hourglass. Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Midwest Bipe - This plane isn't half bad but it sure doesn't like aerobatics very much. Still, it's a lot of fun to fly with a 35-yr old Fox .19 mounted up front.
SIG Akromaster - This plane is not all that far from the Cosmic slightly smaller engine and wing area. This pic was taken just after the first flights. Definitely a fun plane!
