My personal favorite of the 2011 group, and the first one I just had to put in the air. With a 99” wingspan, she
allegedly can be hand launched, and caught by hand when landing. However, I'm leaving that to younger and more
agile folk.
Take off and landings from the ground are smooth and easy on the tricycle landing gear, which is just a bit different
from anything I've used before - it's fiberglass. 2 piece wing. Engine is OS-.26 Surpass 4-stroke (classy engine)
with about 12 hours on it, now. It has maintained level flight for 45 minutes on 4 ounces of fuel, and I've had it up
for more than 30 minutes on several occasions. Radio is 6-channel PCM, 3 channels used (throttle, rudder, elevator).
Gotta tell ya, guys. This is a big, gentle swan in the sky!!!!
