I wish I could say there are lots of pictures of Dakota but I can't. The picture below was
taken on 26 August 2005 and it's one of a very rare few that we've got of her. She's now
about 4.5 yrs old and is very hard to work with. Shoot, she's hard to just approach
sometimes, she's so defensive.
I'd love to learn her early history. Not long after Gallery-1 was shot we had a farrier here
that messed her mind up pretty bad and she's been a bear to work with ever since. She's
just now getting to the point that we can usually approach her without being attacked. She's
kicked 3 of us, bitten all of us and every time we come near her, her ears go flat against her
head.
This is one hard horse to love.
