Blue's now at his (maybe) more permanent home on River View Farm, just a few miles from our house.  This is where
Holly's critters are too.  As a matter of fact, Blue stays in the same pasture as Banjo - Holly's Tobiano Paint, and
they get along pretty well together.  But, the real pairing is Blue and Mosby - what a pair they make too!  Blue's the
smallest horse on the farm, standing just over 13 hands, and Mosby is part (mostly) Percheron - he's HUGE, at
nearly 17 hands!  You can see him best in the photo on the top-left.  Keep in mind that in this photo Mosby is standing
about 15 feet farther away than Blue is - gives you an idea of his size.
All the pics on these pages can be clicked on for a larger, better rendition.
His winter coat is really thick right now - and his color is starting to change
a bit.  His face is definitely getting lighter and when he's been working out
you can easily see a "mottling" effect on his sides.
Blue & Mosby
He's totally relaxed in just the couple weeks he's been here on River View Farm.  Our relationship with him is growing daily, he's
stopped biting entirely.  It's quite obvious that he likes having us around - he longes like a pro, he goes where-ever we go with no
fuss at all.  Voice commands are all that is usually necessary.  Moving here was definitely one of the better things we've done with
him, although we're still looking for a place of our own to keep all the guys (and gal).
He followed Susan all around the field - he still likes to walk behind us instead of 'with' us.
These pics were taken just before we took him out for his day's activities.

Gotta tell y'all, this guy's so "halter-broke" that he actually almost puts it on himself.  When he
sees the halter he knows that we're going to do something interesting and he's ready to rock.
Blue doesn't quite come to us on demand, but he always meets us at least
half-way.  This is him "sauntering over" when he recognized Susan in the
field.
