| Blue's getting to be more relaxed in his new home now. He's learning a few bad habits from the other horses (which are all older than he is) but he's willing to work with us for a little bit at a time. Gotta admit though, just getting him to walk 'with' us instead of in front of us is not as easy as I thought it would be. |

| 15 November 2001 A fairly typical day here - it's finally getting rather cold. Here it is, the middle of November and the coldest weather so far has been in the 60's. So far, just getting past one of the other horses on the farm is a major accomplishment - he's terribly aggressive and Blue isn't able to get by him very easily either. Not much fun as a rule and we're just waiting for an opening at the farm where Holly keeps her horses. These pics are of Susan walking with him around the corral and just basically getting his attention. He's still not totally familiar with us (shoot, we've only had him for a bit under 3 weeks) but we can see the beginning of what just might turn out to be a pretty good relationship. |
