There is an old indian legend that says;

When the time comes for a man to die he must cross
the rainbow bridge to heaven.  As he crosses the
bridge, he will meet every animal he has ever
encountered;

And they, each, will judge him according to how they
were treated by him, thus determining whether he is
worthy to cross the rainbow to heaven.

It is in this spirit that we raise and care for, love and work with our
horses.

It is in this spirit that we bid you
to
WHC; the chronicles of an average American family and our horses.  It's what we've
learned, the joys of horsemanship & the sorrows of losing two of our horse-children.
We hope you enjoy your visit.

Amethyst Crystal Award, 2nd Class - Awarded January 2006
To say that I'm honored to receive this, most stringent of awards, would be to understate
in the extreme.I can hardly believe that WHC is a winner of this very prestigeous award.
Other awards that WHC has won can be seen on our Awards page, just click this line.

Visit Move My Horse and the Miller Farm
Move My Horse dot com
The only "commercial" website link in the entire Wanderings website,
I've picked this one to feature on our WHC home-page for two simple reasons,
they arrange/provide nationwide transport for horses
and they've dropped out of AARP,
just like us.
