If y'all'r usin' the guided tour, we're heading for the older pics now - I'm sure you'll enjoy this.
Yeah, that's right,
"War Is Hell".

Or at least, so they say.  This is a pic of Dad
(Center), the "always ready" Marine in
Australia just after Guadalcanal.  Dad always
swore that he was really sober in this picture.
Anyway, I thought this would be a good choice
for a page opener.
Dad and Bob (the sailor) in Australia
after Guadalcanal.
Although the first few pic's are of Dad during WW2 (in other words, long before me), the rest of the pages are
mostly of me, early in my Air Force career (such as - just after leaving basic training at Lackland AFB),
or even before that.
Nostalgia Album
Pics and History from the 1940's to 1970's
Dad and Wade outside HQ at San Diego Marine Station, ca. 1942.  They were
life-long friends since long before the war.
Dad standing guard in front of his barracks at Parris Island, ca. 1942.  Get that!
 Real buildings during the war!!
Dad again, at Camp Legeune, ca. 1942.  The tent behind him is
"home sweet home".
